Learning Lane Permanent Post 32.5 Hours per week, term time only + 5 PL days R&C Grade D pt 11 (£21,546 actual salary).

Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of eight Academies and one Sixth Form across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire area serving a population in excess of 1000 students with a broad range of learning difficulties. Archway Academy is a pupil referral unit that caters for pupils in KS3 and KS4 from across the Borough of Redcar and Cleveland. Archway provides placements according to individual needs, inclusive of ability and disability.

The successful candidate will be based in our Art Department and ideally will have a keen interest in Art and the necessary skills to work closely with our young people at KS3/4. Previous experience of working with students who present challenging behaviour and/or SEMHD would be desirable but not essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also essential requirements of this post.
