Job Description
We are working with an outstanding, purpose-built secondary special school in Twickenham to find a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term role starting ASAP.

You'll be supporting pupils aged 1116 with Autism and complex learning needs in small, nurturing class groups where your presence truly matters every single day.
What You'll Be Doing Delivering 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Autism and complex needs Helping young people build confidence, independence and resilience Supporting EHCPs and personalised learning plans alongside class teachers Creating a calm, safe and engaging environment where every pupil can thrive Collaborating with a passionate team of teachers, therapists and support staff What We're Looking For Experience supporting young people with Autism or SENDA genuine passion for inclusive education and helping pupils grow Patience, empathy and the ability to stay calm under pressure A team player who models kindness and positivity every day Knowledge of Makaton or AAC approaches is a bonus Why Horizon Teachers We are currently having our busiest year & placing more teachers & support staff than ever before.
