Role: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Hillingdon
Pay rate: up to Β£615 weekly
Contract: Term-time only

Are you passionate about supporting childrens learning and development in a primary school setting? Horizon Teachers is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join they team on a long-term, term-time only basis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils, including those with SEN
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Assist with the preparation of resources and materials
  • Contribute to assessments by observing and recording pupil progress
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

Who we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
  • A patient, caring and proactive attitude
