Location: Hillingdon
Pay rate: up to Β£615 weekly
Contract: Term-time only
Are you passionate about supporting childrens learning and development in a primary school setting? Horizon Teachers is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join they team on a long-term, term-time only basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils, including those with SEN
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Assist with the preparation of resources and materials
- Contribute to assessments by observing and recording pupil progress
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Who we are looking for:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- A patient, caring and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting childrens educational journey
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
