A friendly and inclusive secondary school in Barking and Dagenham, East London is looking to appoint a reliable and caring Teaching Assistant to become part of its well-established inclusion team.

This full-time, long-term opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and is keen to contribute to a positive, encouraging learning environment where all students are supported to achieve their best.

The position offers a daily rate of up to £110, dependent on experience.

About the Role:

  • Deliver focused 1:1 and small-group support to students across different subjects and year groups
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure lessons are accessible and engaging
  • Assist the SENCO and inclusion team with personalised support plans and progress monitoring
  • Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and independence both in the classroom and across the school
