Horizon Teachers is looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a forward-thinking SEN school in Chelmsford. You will bring structure and clarity to broad learning goals, turning them into clear, measurable steps, ensuring no skill or concept is missed.

You will plan and deliver cross-curricular lessons across Key Stages 1 to 2, embedding life skills and foundational learning into every session. ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured, cross-curricular lessons with a focus on life skills and core foundation learning.
  • Support pupils' personal and social development.

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
  • Experience teaching KS1/KS2 pupils essential
  • SEN and/or SEMH experience strongly desirable
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
