Horizon Teachers are seeking Teaching Assistants who can empower students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to thrive both academically and pastorally. This exciting opportunity is for a Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND school located in Croydon starting in May 2026. If you are a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to inspire and empower young minds, we would love to hear from you!

The role:

  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant desirable
  • Support the class teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
  • Provide one to one support or group assistance
  • Motivating pupils with SEN
  • Assisting with behaviour management
  • Strong communication skills and being able to work in a team
