We are working with a fantastic three-form entry primary school in Esher that is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be:
- Supporting pupils with additional needs either 1:1 or in small groups, helping them access learning and feel confident in the classroom
- Providing targeted SEN support within the classroom
- Supporting pupils with focus, communication and emotional regulation
- Adapting learning activities so pupils can fully access the curriculum
- Helping build pupils' confidence, independence and social skills
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong experience supporting SEN pupils in a primary setting
- Is calm, patient and able to build strong relationships with children
- Understands strategies around autism, ADHD, speech & language or SEMH
- Wants to make a genuine difference to children who need extra support
