We are working with a specialist secondary school in Greenwich that is aiming to find specialist support staff to help with learners that have ASC and behavioural difficulties.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and supportive learning atmosphere for students with SEN. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioural challenges.
- Implementing behaviour intervention plans and strategies in collaboration with teachers and other specialists.
- Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviours and social skills.
- Monitoring and tracking student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Assisting teachers in classroom management and promoting a harmonious learning environment.
- Building strong rapport with students, parents, and colleagues to facilitate effective communication.
