Horizon Teachers are working with a primary school in Bexley, supporting in their search for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference by supporting children with additional needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
What youll be doing Supporting children with SEND within the mainstream classroom, helping to access learning and thrive both in and out of the classroom. Helping to adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs. Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development. Building strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
What were looking for Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or education setting. Experience working with EYFS, Key Stage 1 or 2. Experience leading small group interventions and 1:1 support. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach. Great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
