About you
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5.
  • Previous leadership experience or the ambition and capability to step into a middle leadership role.
  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
  • A passion for raising attainment and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
  • Commitment to delivering an engaging and ambitious curriculum.
Key responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Business Studies department across KS4 and KS5.
  • Develop and implement an innovative and engaging curriculum.
  • Monitor student progress and drive improvements in attainment and achievement.
  • Support, mentor, and develop colleagues within the department.
  • Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Contribute to the wider strategic development of the school.
