Immediate Start Behaviour Mentor in the Exclusion Room of a secondary academy in Tower Hamlets. Full-Time | Ongoing into September. Up to £130 per day.

Are you resilient, calm under pressure, and passionate about supporting young people with behavioural needs? We are currently recruiting a Behaviour Mentor to work within the Exclusion Room. This role is ideal for candidates with behaviour support, youth work, or mentoring experience who want to make a positive impact within education.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support students who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance, helping them remain engaged with learning and successfully reintegrate into the wider school environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Supporting students within the Exclusion Room throughout the school day
  • Helping students regulate behaviour and engage with learning
  • Building positive relationships and providing consistent mentoring support
  • Working closely with pastoral staff and senior leaders
  • Encouraging students to develop resilience, responsibility, and positive choices
