Main Duties

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative EYFS lessons and activities.
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and development.
  • Help create a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Encourage children's social, emotional and communication development through play-based learning.
  • Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources and displays.
  • Observe children's progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
  • Support pupils with personal care where required.
  • Promote positive behaviour and help children develop independence and confidence.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

About You

  • Have previous experience working with children within an EYFS setting (essential).

  • Hold an EYFS or relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential).
