Horizon Teachers are delighted to be working in partnership with a friendly and ambitious secondary school in Barking and Dagenham, East London, who are looking to appoint a motivated and passionate Science Teacher to join their established Science department. This long-term position offers a competitive salary in line with the Outer London Pay Scale, from M1 (£37,868) to UPS3 (£56,154), depending on experience.
The school is seeking a Science specialist who can deliver inspiring and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates. You will be joining a collaborative and well-supported Science faculty that values teamwork, high expectations, and engaging teaching that drives strong student outcomes.
In this role, you will plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons that develop students' subject knowledge, practical investigation skills, and confidence in scientific thinking. The successful candidate will play an active role in maintaining high standards and contributing to the school's inclusive and aspirational learning culture.
