Immediate Start Long-term Contract SEN Teaching Assistant in North London Up to £125 daily

Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning? We're looking for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Mentor to join a welcoming school in North London. This is a rewarding role where you'll work closely with pupils who need additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them stay engaged, build confidence, and succeed in school.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Helping students manage behaviour and stay focused in lessons
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Promoting confidence, resilience, and social skills
  • Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams
  • Supporting the implementation of behaviour strategies and interventions

  • A calm, patient, and confident approach
  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is a bonus)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
