Horizon Teachers are searching for a Behaviour Mentor in the Barking and Dagenham area. We are working with a high-calibre Alternative Provision who are seeking an experienced behaviour specialist that is able to establish relationships with students and help guide them in the correct direction to set them up for later life. The role is ideal for someone who wants to help sculpt the future generation and provide a clear example for children of what is achievable.
The position would be working with one particular student in KS4 and is best suited to someone who has had previous experience in youth support and community work. The student needs somebody that they can look up to, and someone to provide positive reinforcement and a clear demonstration of a positive role model.
The ideal person will have:
- Prior experience working with troubled young people.
- The ability to establish good relationships with individuals who often struggle to open up.
- A strong personality with the ability to express positivity verbally to young people.
