We are working with a very welcoming and inclusive Children's Centre based in Islington, and they are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to work with their children aged 0-5 years old.

This is a long-term position startingas soon as possibleon a full-time basis. The Nursery offers flexible shifts between the hours of 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm.

Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that you have previous experience working within an Early Years setting, and holding a Level 3 childcare qualification (or similar) is very desirable.

Key Responsibilities as a

Nursery

Assistant:
Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for children aged 0-5.

Support children's physical, emotional, and social development through play and age-appropriate activities.

Assist with daily routines, including feeding, changing, and sleeping.

Monitor and record children's development and progress.

What we're looking for:
Level 3 qualification in Childcare is desirable (but not essential if you have experience in a similar setting)
Experience working with babies in an early year setting.

A warm, patient, and engaging approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.
