Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a new opportunity in South East London? Are you confident managing classrooms and passionate about supporting young people to stay engaged and focused on their learning?
We are currently recruiting a Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in South East London, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education professional to work across a range of year groups and subjects within an inclusive school environment.
Key responsibilities:- Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain on task
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Supporting students with their learning and individual needs
- Working closely with teachers and other school staff
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, confident, and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and their education
