About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a vibrant secondary school in Ealing. The successful candidate will support students with Special Educational Needs, specifically those with ASD and ADHD, helping them to thrive academically and socially within a mainstream school environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with ASD and ADHD, helping them access the curriculum effectively. Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons tailored to the needs of students with additional learning requirements. Assist with behavioural management and emotional support to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment. Work closely with SENCOs and other staff to implement and monitor individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies. Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure the well-being and academic success of all learners. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience working with students with ASD and ADHD in an educational setting, ideally within secondary schools. A good understanding of SEN (Special Educational Needs) and behaviour management strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals.
