We are recruiting for a resilient and proactive Behavioural Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a Secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Redbridge. This PRU supports young people who face significant behavioural challenges due to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing them with a structured, understanding, and positive learning environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong behaviour management skills and a passion for making a difference in students’ lives. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. Implement and reinforce behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and structured learning environment. De-escalate challenging behaviours calmly and effectively, helping students to regulate emotions and actions. Support the academic and personal development of students, fostering resilience and independence. Collaborate closely with teaching staff and other support workers to deliver a consistent approach to behaviour and learning support.
