We are seeking a fully qualified Gas Engineer to cover Bristol, Bath, and sometimes Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis with a salary of 38000 - 40000 and comes with a van, laptop, phone, and test equipment.
The Company
The company is a property maintenance company that provides a wide range of services to customers all over the UK. These include gas and electrical safety inspections, legionella testing, CO and smoke alarm repairs, and installations. The head office is based in rural Suffolk.
The Job
Primary function is to complete gas-safety checks and remedial work. You may also be required to install boilers/complete combi swaps or support other engineers on occasion. You must also diagnose faults and carry out installations to a high standard.
The Requirements
- Experience in domestic heating and plumbing systems is a must.
- This should include up to date Water Regs (Part L) vented and unvented qualifications.
- Ideally you will be familiar with controls and wiring plans and able to install; you will also need the relevant electrical qualification (Part P).
- ACS Certs required for appliances cookers and ranges (CKR1), boilers and water heaters (CENWAT), fires (HTR1), ideally space heaters and warm air (DAH1).
- Asbestos and Legionella Awareness training is also desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- You must also be computer literate.
- A full clean driving licence.
This is a full-time permanent role offering a starting salary of 38000 - 40000. Must be flexible to cover varying appointment schedules, up to a maximum of 40 hours a week, normally between 08:30 and 17:30. A DBS check is required.
