The predicted salary is between 32000 - 36000 £ per year.
We are seeking a full qualified Gas Engineer to cover South East London and Dartford Areas and surrounding areas. This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis a salary of £38,000 – £45,000 and comes with Van, Laptop, phone and test equipment.
The Company
The company are a property maintenance company who provide a wide range of services to customers all over the UK. These include gas and electrical safety inspections, Legionella testing, CO and smoke alarm repairs and installations. Head office is based in rural Suffolk.
The Job
Primary function is to complete gas-safety checks and remedial work. You may also be required to install boilers/complete combi swaps or support other engineers on occasions. You must also diagnose faults and carry out installations to a high standard.
The Requirements
- Experience in domestic heating and plumbing systems is a must.
- This should include up to date Water Regs (Part L), vented and unvented qualifications.
- Ideally you will be familiar with controls and wiring plans and able to install, so will also need the relevant electrical qualification (part P).
- ACS Certs required for appliances – cookers and ranges (CKR1) boilers and water heaters (CENWAT) – Fires (HTR1) – ideally space heaters and warm air (DAH1). Asbestos and Legionella Awareness training is also desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must also be computer literate.
- A full, clean driving licence.
- Must be flexible in order to cover varying appointment schedules to a maximum of 40 hours a week normally between 08:30 and 17:30.
