We are looking for a Gym Instructor to join us in transforming our business from \’good\’ to \’great\’! This is a thrilling time for our company, and we need a key team member like you to help us achieve unprecedented success.
Our ideal candidate!
Our ideal person will have a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification (or equivalent) with relevant experience in a similar role.
What does the role involve?
The main focus of the role will be to ensure the efficient operation of the Gym under the supervision of the Fitness Manager. A hands‑on role that requires you to:
- Carry out welcome visits with new customers.
- Deliver group exercise classes.
- Supervise junior gym sessions and provide support to younger members.
- Work practically with members to tailor personalised fitness programmes to their individual needs.
- Proactively engage with members on classes, forthcoming events, promotions and gym challenges.
- Help and assist members with questions and queries.
- Ensure the gym and fitness equipment is kept clean and in a safe condition.
- Carry out any other tasks as required by the Fitness Manager
Qualifications:
- Gym Instructor Qualification Level 2 or Higher (Essential)
- First Aid Qualification (Desirable)
- Personal Trainer Level 3 (Desirable)
- Emergency Response Training (Desirable)

This role will be based at Guildford but will be expected to travel to other company sites as the need requires.
