We're looking for a Sous Chef or a Senior Sous Chef (Package negotiable depending on experience) to join our talented and ambitious kitchen team at The Ship Inn. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, hands-on Sous Chef who thrives in a busy kitchen, leads calmly from the front, and takes pride in delivering consistently excellent food, every service, every plate.

The Role
As Sous Chef, you'll play a key leadership role in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and helping maintain the standards and culture we're building. You will:
- Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence
- Support menu development, stock management and kitchen compliance
- Help maintain a calm, organised and professional service environment
- Support and develop junior members of the team
- Drive consistency, quality and attention to detail on every service
- Work closely with the team to motivate and deliver great food, every day
What we offer
