Bright Futures, Inspired by You. Our new two bedded children's home will be providing therapeutic health assessment placements for children and young people. The home will support children who present with a range of emotional, behavioural and social difficulties (EBSD). This may include challenges such as trauma-related behaviours, attachment difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and difficulties forming and maintaining relationships.
In addition, the home will support children with learning difficulties, adapting care approaches, communication methods, and routines to meet individual cognitive and developmental needs. Staff are trained to provide individualized support, ensuring that each child can access the assessment process in a way that is appropriate and effective for them.
Requirements for the role:
- Experience within residential childcare is preferred but not essential
- Level 3 in Residential childcare preferred but not essential
- Full UK Manual Driving license is essential to be able to take our children to school, appointments and activities
- Flexibility to work: Sleep-ins / waking nights, Weekends, Unplanned/emergency shifts
