Senior Residential Care Worker – Children’s Assessment Home

We are looking for dedicated Senior Residential Support Workers at our 4‑bedroom Children’s Home where we create a safe, nurturing environment where children receive structured assessments to support positive outcomes.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children Residential Care, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience within residential childcare and working alongside young people.
- Manual UK driving licence.
About the role
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will support young people in the many different aspects of daily life within our homes including:
- Helping young people continue with hobbies, social activities, friendships, and learn new skills.
- Supporting young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities.
- Conducting Supervisions for staff members.
- Managing the home effectively in the absence of the Deputy or Manager.
- Effectively leading shifts, directing and supporting colleagues.
- Managing health and safety processes in the home, including implementation and monitoring of risk assessments.
- Supporting the induction of colleagues into the home.
- Being responsible for safeguarding and actively promoting the welfare of children and young people.
