Job Description
Clinical / Forensic Psychologist
Location: Wiltshire (Melksham, Devizes, Salisbury)
Salary: £60,000 Full Time (37.5 hrs.) Some Remote Working
Driving license and own car required
Join Horizon Care & Education to deliver a comprehensive therapeutic service for children across our Wiltshire homes including a new assessment home focused on identifying individual needs.
What You ll Do:

Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for children with complex trauma and emotional needs

Support and train care teams to embed therapeutic practice

Deliver evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, EMDR, trauma-focused approaches)

Contribute to safeguarding, risk management, and multi-agency planning

Promote reflective practice and psychologically informed environments
What We re Looking For:

HCPC-registered Clinical or Forensic Psychologist (doctoral-level qualification)
-
Experience working with children and young people affected by trauma
-
Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
-
Excellent communication and autonomy in practice

Full UK driving licence and own transport
Desirable:

Experience in service evaluation or transitions between placements

Training in DBT, play therapy, or MBT approaches
