About the role:

  • Helping young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills.
  • Supporting young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities.
  • Conducting Supervisions for staff members.
  • Manage the home effectively in the absence of the Deputy or Manager.
  • Effectively lead shifts, direct and support colleagues.
  • Manage health and safety processes in the home including the implementation and monitoring of risk assessments.
  • To support the induction of colleagues into the home.
  • To be responsible for safeguarding and actively promoting the welfare of children and young people.
