Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of schools to provide high levels of support and consultation for operational colleagues
- Provide therapeutic advice and guidance to teams to enable them to support young people throughout their journey with Horizon
- Be responsible for assessments, goal setting and recommendations for therapeutic support for your own caseload
- Develop, write and regularly review/update therapeutic goals for children and young people in education
- Develop and contribute to the delivery of therapeutic and psychological training to all staff in the organisation as part of the Therapeutic Academy
- Benefit from regular supervision and CPD activities
- Participate in service development activities across the Horizon Group
Qualifications
- HCPC registered
- Accredited by BACP, BABCP, UKCP
- BSc/MSc registered Art/Music/Play Therapist or Psychotherapist (or nearly qualified)
- Experience of working with children and young people or demonstrable transferable skills
- A desire to support services through embedding therapeutic practice
- Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision
- Well‑developed communication skills, orally and in writing
- Ability to work autonomously with support from individual and peer supervision
- Ability to role‑model behaviours and attitudes in line with organisational values
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office components (Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
- Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle
