Brewood School is looking for an SEN Primary Teacher to join our specialist day school in Deal, Kent. The role involves teaching KS3‑aged children a variety of subjects at KS2 level, with a focus on maths when possible.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a range of subjects to KS3 students with Special Educational Needs, including speech, language, communication, autism, ADHD, PDA and SEMH.
  • Plan, deliver and assess lessons in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the curriculum team and therapeutic staff to support pupil development.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QLTS).
  • Proven teaching and learning experience.
  • Current safeguarding and child protection knowledge/qualifications.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH and additional needs.
