Responsibilities
- Support young people in daily life activities within the homes
- Encourage continued hobbies, social activities and friendships, and help learn new skills
- Support young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities
- Conduct supervisions for staff members
- Manage the home effectively in the absence of the Deputy or Manager
- Lead shifts, direct and support colleagues
- Manage health and safety processes, implement and monitor risk assessments
- Assist with the induction of colleagues into the home
- Be responsible for safeguarding and actively promote the welfare of children and young people
