Horizon Care and Education have an opportunity for a Registered Manager to join our team to ensure exceptional care and a nurturing environment for our young people in our children's home.

As a Registered Manager, you will support young people in the many different aspects of daily life within our homes including:

  • Manage a warm and friendly home that is a safe and supportive environment for our children and young people to achieve positive outcomes authentic to them.
  • Ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care.
  • Safeguard young people and liaise with professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in children's residential care management.
  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • You hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s Workforce.
  • You also hold your QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children’s Services or be willing to undertake this qualification as part of the role.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
