Hybrid - 3 days onsite

Covering portfolio of homes and schools, West Midlands to Wiltshire.

To deliver independent assurance on service‑level compliance with statutory regulations and internal quality frameworks, identifying risks, areas of non‑compliance, and opportunities for improvement. The primary focus of this role will be the Group's residential children’s homes and supported accommodation services. Each audit will typically require three working days:

  • Day 1‑2: On‑site assessment (file reviews, staff/young people interviews, observations).
  • Day 3: Report writing and submission.

This is a hybrid role, requiring regular travel to conduct audits across the Group’s services.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and The Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023
  • Experience of auditing, inspection, or quality assessment in children’s social care
  • Ability to analyse evidence and make sound judgments on compliance and risk
  • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to present findings clearly and constructively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage with staff, children, and young people
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to deliver audits within agreed timescales
  • Ability to maintain independence, integrity, and professional objectivity
  • Driving licence, access to a car, and willingness to travel regularly for work purposes
