What You’ll Get To Do

  • ER Case Management: Advise managers, handle investigations, disciplinaries, and appeals, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Policy & Compliance: Embed HR policies, provide advice on employment law, and maintain accurate records.
  • Manager Coaching: Upskill managers in HR policy application.
  • Absence & Flexible Working: Manage caseloads related to short‑term absence, probation, and flexible working.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collate and analyse people data, including absence rates and ER trends.
  • HR Toolkits & Resources: Assist in drafting ER toolkits, manager guidance, and policy updates.
  • Administration: Oversee Sage People administration and generate HR reports.

You’re Perfect For This Role If You Have

  • Demonstrable experience: providing HR advice in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Expert Communication: both written and verbal.
  • Technology Confident: confident working with HR Systems and IT packages.
  • Experience with SAGE HR is advantageous!
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • Effective communication style to effectively collaborate with people at all levels.
  • ER Expertise: knowledge of ER processes and policies.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders up to senior leadership.
  • Advantageous if you have a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management.
