As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will support young people in the daily life within our homes, including:
- Helping them pursue hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learning new skills.
- Providing day-to-day care in a safe, homely, therapeutic environment.
- Supporting daily routines such as getting ready for school and ensuring healthy meals.
- Ensuring the young person has a safe space to relax and unwind.
- Supporting development through stimulating activities and consistent care.
- Building meaningful relationships and meeting safeguarding needs.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals and contributing to care planning.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care and create a safe, homely, therapeutic environment.
- Support young people with daily routines such as getting ready for school and ensuring healthy and balanced meals.

- Ensure the young person has a safe space to relax and unwind within the home.

What We’re Looking For From You
- Full UK Manual Driving licence is essential to be able to take our children to school, appointments and activities.
- Ability to be a great role model to our looked after children.
- Ability to build trusting relationships.
- A genuine care and compassion to work with looked after children.
- Flexibility to work shifts that include evenings and weekends and sleep ins.
- Willingness to complete a Level 3 qualification in Childrens and Young People Workforce.
