Horizon Care and Education is looking for an SEN Primary Teacher for Wickham Park School in Bromley, South London. The role involves teaching primary subjects to children aged 5‑19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and autism in a brand‑new SEN school.
Responsibilities
- Teach primary subjects to children with SEN.
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Use inclusive teaching techniques.
- Support students with SEMH and other additional needs.
- Collaborate with SENCos, operational Directors, and the therapeutic team.
Qualifications
- QTS or QTLS qualification.
- Proven teaching and learning experience.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
- Outstanding classroom practitioner.
- Initiative, vision, excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Experience working with students with SEMH and additional needs.
- Knowledge and understanding of developments in education.
