Horizon Care and Education are looking for an SEN Primary Teacher for the brand-new Wickham Park School in Bromley, a modern SEN school for up to 70 pupils aged 5-19 with SEMH needs and Autism. The role will involve teaching Primary subjects to children with various SEN needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach Primary subjects to children with various SEN needs.
- Support and plan for students with SEMH and additional needs.
Minimum Requirements
- QTS or QTLS qualification.
- Proven teaching and learning experience.
- Up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge.
- Outstanding classroom practitioner.
- Energy, passion and drive to raise standards.
- Initiative, vision, excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Experience of working with students with SEMH and additional needs.
- Knowledge and understanding of developments in education.
Support Structure
The teacher will be supported by the Director of Curriculum, Headteachers, SENCos, Operational Directors and the Managing Director of Education Services, as well as an extensive therapeutic team.
