Salary: £40,000

Hybrid – 3 days onsite (regular travel across the Group’s services). Covering portfolio of homes and schools in West Midlands to Wiltshire.

Primary focus: Group’s residential children’s homes and supported accommodation services.

Each audit typically requires three working days:

  • Day 1–2: On‑site assessment (file reviews, staff/young people interviews, observations).
  • Day 3: Report writing and submission.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and The Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023.
  • Experience of auditing, inspection, or quality assessment in children’s social care.
  • Ability to analyse evidence and make sound judgments on compliance and risk.
  • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to present findings clearly and constructively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage with staff, children, and young people.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to deliver audits within agreed timescales.
  • Ability to maintain independence, integrity, and professional objectivity.
  • Driving licence and access to a car, and willingness to travel regularly for work purposes.
