We are looking for SEN Teachers of Primary aged children to join our new school in the Long Eaton (NG10) area. You will be working with children aged 5-19 in a specialist SEN environment. Meadowbrook School will be a brand-new, independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for up to 80 pupils. Based in Long Eaton, Nottingham, the school will meet the diverse needs of pupils aged 5-19 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Refurbishment is currently underway, with completion scheduled for late Summer.

We provide a holistic, bespoke curriculum with rich learning opportunities that enable young people to develop their functional life skills in order to experience a high quality of life. Bright Futures, Inspired By You.

Minimum requirements:
  • QTS or QTLS Qualification
  • Have proven teaching and learning experience
  • Have up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience
The ideal candidate should:
  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
  • Have the energy, passion, and drive to raise standards.
  • Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills.
  • Have experience of working with students with SEMH and additional needs.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education.
