Bright Futures, Inspired By You. Horizon Care and Education have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Maths SEN Teacher to join our schools! We are recruiting for a Lead Maths teacher to join our staff team at our Aspire School in Croydon. You will be teaching a primary SEN class with responsibility for leading on maths across the school for pupils with SLCN/SEMH.
Aspire Learning is an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for boys and girls. Based in Croydon, the school meets the diverse needs of pupils aged 5-11 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN). Aspire school is in the process of expanding to take on more children from the local community, and you will play a part in the growth and success of this amazing school. At Horizon Care and Education, our teachers will be supported by our Director of Curriculum, Headteachers, SENCos, Operational Directors and the Managing Director of Education Services as well as our extensive therapeutic team.

What we’re looking for from you:
- QTS or QTLS Qualification
- Have proven teaching and learning experience
- Have up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience.
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
- Have the energy, passion, and drive to raise standards.
- Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills.
- Have experience of working with students with SEMH and additional needs.
- Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education.
