Here at Horizon Care & Education, we are seeking an exceptional Dual Registered Manager to lead two children’s residential homes in Melksham, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, experienced leader who is ready for a rewarding challenge and wants to play a key role in shaping outstanding care and outcomes for young people.
Working in close partnership with Wiltshire County Council, you will be at the heart of a collaborative, child-centred approach, supporting young people with complex needs to thrive, feel safe, and achieve their potential.
About the Role
- Hold Ofsted registration for two residential children’s homes
- Provide inspirational leadership and management across both homes
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care
- Work closely with Wiltshire County Council, external professionals, and families
- Drive a positive culture focused on safeguarding, stability, and positive outcomes
- Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Lead, develop, and support staff teams to be the best they can be
About You
- Is an experienced Registered Manager within children’s residential care
- Holds, or is willing to work towards, the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
- Has a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and inspections
- Is confident managing multiple services while maintaining outstanding standards
- Is passionate, resilient, and committed to improving the lives of young people
- Values partnership working and collaborative practice
