Due to continued growth and expansion, Horizon Care and Education have an exciting opportunity for a peripatetic teacher to join our fantastic Alternative Learning Pathway team in the Warwickshire area.
Horizon Alternative Learning Pathway (HALP) aims to support and engage young people for whom learning in a school environment is not appropriate. We deliver short to medium term, personalised learning programmes nationally - a combination of direct home tutoring, mentoring and online learning for pupils from ages 8-25.
As a peripatetic teacher you will visit children to deliver the 1-1 education in the community. You will be expected to attend meetings and training where required.
You will be working in a variety of non-school settings where you will be building and maintaining excellent educational relationships with the students. Your focus will be the individual learning needs of the student who has struggled in a school environment. Due to the nature of the role you will need to be a car owner/driver.

Minimum requirements:
- QTS or QTLS Qualifications
- Have proven teaching and learning experience.
- Have up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience.

- Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills
- Ideally have experience and a passion for working with students with SEN/SEMH in a 1-1 or small group setting
