Horizon Alternative Learning Pathway (HALP) aims to support and engage young people for whom learning in a school environment is not appropriate.We deliver short to medium term, personalised learning programmes nationally β a combination of direct home tutoring, mentoring and online learning for pupils from ages 8-25. You will be based at our Draycott Moor Schooland will form part of the team at this school. As a peripatetic teacher you will visit children to deliver the 1-1 education in the community. You will be expected to attend meetings and training at the school and at times may be asked to cover lessons/support in school if needed. You will be working in a variety of non-school settings where you will be building and maintaining excellent educational relationships with the students. Your focus will be the individual learning needs of the student who has struggled in a school environment. Due to the nature of the role you will need to be a car owner/driver.
