HORIBA are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to provide routine maintenance, servicing, upgrades and installation of HORIBA equipment. The successful candidate will enjoy troubleshooting, be confident in delivering technical support and training to our customers whilst maintaining a professional outlook.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To carry out routine maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs of HORIBA equipment. Supporting with installation, commissioning activities, field troubleshooting and upgrade campaigns.
You will train customers in the operation of equipment and routine maintenance where required as well as providing technical support when practical.
This role requires you to have knowledge and experience of mechatronic systems and techniques for motors, VFD and PLC systems for both safety and control. To be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office and confident in using various diagnostic software tools related to fault finding. You will also need to have good knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written.
It would be an advantage if you have completed a recognised Apprenticeship or Scholarship in Science / Engineering, or BSc in a Science / Engineering or related subject.
At times, you will be required to work in confined spaces or at height and would need the capability to manage loading/unloading weights for repeated calibration sequences (typically 14kg).
