We're looking for a Kitchen Porter (Catering Assistant) to join our friendly and dedicated catering team at The McIndoe Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs and support the delivery of high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors.

Main duties of the job:
- Assist chefs and catering staff with food preparation, including sandwiches, salads, and vegetables.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic kitchen environment, following clean as you go practices.
- Wash and sanitise crockery, cutlery, glassware, and cookware to the highest standards.
- Support meal service and beverage points, ensuring smooth front and back-of-house operations.
- Manage stock rotation, put away deliveries, and complete associated records.
- Ensure waste disposal processes are followed and bins are cleaned daily.
- Communicate allergen information accurately and complete food safety documentation.

Job responsibilities:
- Location: The McIndoe Centre, East Grinstead
- Contract Type: Permanent, 37.50 hours per week
- Work Pattern: Working 5 out of 7 days
- Salary: Between £23,965.50 to £24,082.50 per annum
