Responsibilities
- Assess learners through workplace observations, professional discussions and portfolio reviews.
- Provide constructive, developmental feedback to support learner progression.
- Monitor progress and support timely completion of qualifications.
- Carry out Internal Quality Assurance activities, including sampling and standardisation.
- Support assessors to maintain high-quality assessment practice.
- Prepare documentation for External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits.
- Promote a positive, supportive learning culture aligned to our values.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a healthcare environment.
- Level 3 (or above) Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent).
- Level 4 IQA qualification (or working towards).
- Experience assessing Health & Social Care qualifications and supporting learners.
- Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
Desirable
- Apprenticeship assessment experience (Health and Social Care).
- Experience using e-portfolio systems (Learning Assistant).
- Teaching qualification (Level 3 AET or above).
