The Role
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner – Recovery, you’ll play a vital role across the patient pathway, delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient journeys.
- Contribute to clinical audits, research, and service development initiatives.
- Support safe, efficient theatre operations and optimal use of resources.
- Help create a positive, empathetic environment for patients, colleagues, and visitors.

You are a dedicated and motivated practitioner with a genuine passion for delivering excellent patient care.
Essential
- Registered Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP Level 3).
- Previous experience in a theatre environment.
- Previous recovery experience.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based care.
Desirable
- Orthopaedic experience.
- Mentorship or clinical supervision qualification.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
Location: The Horder Centre, Crowborough
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (4 days a week 8am to 6pm)
Salary: up to £42,198.00 per annum, depending on experience.
