About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 10 years of experience, primarily from a consultancy or client-side background (not main contractor). The successful candidate will have a strong track record in the residential sector, with extensive experience managing projects ranging from £1m to £30m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage residential projects (houses and flats), covering circa 70- 80% of the role. The remainder will be commercial projects including offices, retail, PBSA, hospitability etc
- Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Act as Employer’s Agent under JCT Design & Build contracts.
- Administer various JCT contracts (both traditional and D&B).
- Handle contract administration effectively, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of10 years’ experience in project management.
- Strong background in residential projects (70-80% of role).
- Proven experience delivering projects valued between £1m – £30m.
- Solid knowledge of JCT contracts and experience as an Employer’s Agent.
- Ideally MCIOB or MRICS qualified (not essential).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to offer developer clients sound advice on procurement options
Salary & Benefits:
