Hopton C of E Primary Academy is an inclusive, rural school on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk. The school joined the Elveden Schools Trust this year and offers forest schools and OPAL play as part of its provision. The school is in a small village community with strong relationships with parents and the wider community.

We are seeking to appoint a part-time class teacher for a KS2 class. There will also be the opportunity to lead curriculum subjects depending on the successful candidate’s areas of expertise and the needs of the school. Experience of teaching a mixed KS2 class and a good knowledge of the curriculum are desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • This is a part-time teaching role for KS2 with potential to lead curriculum subjects based on expertise and school needs.
  • The candidate will contribute to the development of a child-centred curriculum in a small-scale setting and support the school’s provision for mixed-age classes.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience of teaching a mixed KS2 class is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of the primary curriculum.
