What We’re Looking For:
- Essential Qualification: Level 2, 3, 5, or 6 in Early Years Education (full and relevant as per the DFE list of relevant qualifications)
- Recruitment Process: All applicants will undergo safer recruitment checks, including a completed Application Form and DBS clearance
Your Role:
- Design and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities aligned with EYFS standards
- Be a reliable, proactive team player, collaborating with fellow childcare professionals
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with parents and guardians about their child’s development
- Foster a stimulating and nurturing environment where children can thrive
- Ensure all documentation and procedures are completed with accuracy and care
Position Details:
- Hours: Full-time-Monday–Friday, 52 weeks a year
- Salary: £27,060.80– £29,848.00 (pro‑rata)
- Portswood staff receive an additional £0.30/hour location weighting (this is included in salary above; subject to terms)
