Our vibrant nursery in Regents Park, Southampton is on the lookout for Qualified Early Years Practitioners to become part of our warm and welcoming Hopscotch team. Essential Qualification: Level 2, 3, 5, or 6 in Early Years Education (full and relevant as per the DFE list of relevant qualifications)

Recruitment Process: All applicants will undergo safer recruitment checks, including a completed Application Form and DBS clearance.

  • Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS standards.
  • Be a reliable, proactive team player, collaborating with fellow childcare professionals.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with parents and guardians about their child’s development.
  • Foster a stimulating and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
  • Ensure all documentation and procedures are completed with accuracy and care.

Hours: Full and Part time roles available between 24-40hrs week working Monday–Friday, 52 weeks a year (8 hour shifts between 7am-6pm), Part Time -20hr a week working 11-3pm Monday -Friday. All roles are 52 weeks a year.

Salary Range: £27,372.80-£29,848.00 (Pro rata based on 40hrs week). Regents Park staff receive an additional £0.30/hour location weighting (this is included in salary above; subject to terms).
